Palmyra Cove Nature Park (PCNP) is a 250-acre urban oasis along a highly developed area on the Delaware River. Habitats include wetlands, woodlands, meadows, wild creek and river shoreline, and a freshwater Tidal Cove after which the park is named. The Institute for Earth Observations at Palmyra Cove is a STEM educational initiative for students and teachers that studies Planet Earth. This is a unique and engaging facility where experiences can be shared…and innovative collaboration begins!

WHAT IS PCEEF?
Palmyra Cove Environmental Education Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1999 to preserve natural habitats and provide environmental education and passive recreational opportunities for all to visit.
PCEEF is under the direction of its President, Christine Nociti, who has served on the PCEEF Board of Trustees since 2018.

Christine joined the Board of Trustees of Palmyra Cove Environmental Foundation, Inc. in January 18, 2018. A little more than one year later she began serving the organization as President. Christine has had a continuous relationship with PCNP/IEO through her role as CFO/Compliance Officer at the Burlington County Bridge Commission. In addition to a B.S. in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University, Christine earned a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law in Camden where she graduated with honors.
A CPA and licensed attorney, Christine spent several years working in private industry at professional organizations that include Bowman & Company, LLP, as an auditor and Dechert, LLP as a finance attorney. Christine was the Treasurer of Burlington County 2003-2006 and has also participated in local government serving on Council in the Borough of Riverton where she was responsible for oversight of the Budget, Shade Tree Commission and Negotiations.
Christine has an appreciation for academic roles as well; she has volunteered at Rutgers Law School as a Teaching Assistant and is currently an Adjunct Professor at Rowan College at Burlington County. Active in community service, Christine routinely volunteers for non-profits on both sides of the river; special projects include serving as Treasurer for The Eagles Have Landed (Burlington County non-profit event hosted at PCNP/IEO). She has also enjoyed recreational memberships with various local organizations such as the Riverton Porch Club and Riverton Yacht Club. A gardening enthusiast, Christine has a particular affection for the PCNP/IEO education-based STEM program which she feels presents an ideal platform for sharing the resources of the nature park with the community.
