On September 23, 2017 PCNP hosted a joint event with WHYY 12 Public TV called “Splash and Bubbles.” A creation of Jim Henson, this program targets young children and their families. This is being promoted through WHYY TV in a spot featuring Kristina Merola, our Director of Natural Sciences. 300 people attended this family friendly event focused on Clean Water and Oceans. It resulted in a very successful beach clean-up while teaching children and adults the values of keeping our waterways clean and litter free.
