PCNP celebrated International Migratory Bird Day, Saturday, May 6th by hosting Bird Quest, an annual bird counting competition.  This friendly competition offers participants an opportunity to explore the parks of Burlington County and to discover the birds that migrate through them. The event is open to all ages with a guided Palmyra Cove team that individuals, couples, and families may join if they are unable to form teams of their own.  The event runs from 7:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon during which time participants are free to “bird” in any of the Burlington County parks.  At 12:15 P.M. all teams meet at PCNP to tally results and to determine a winner.  A light lunch is served at the Cove after which everyone leaves happy, especially the winners.
